Philadelphia-born Lauren Butler is a graduate of the University of Utah with a BA in Film & Media Arts. She previously studied at Penn State Abington and Cheyney University respectively.

 

Lauren's photography has been featured with independent filmmakers Eli and Lu of Eli Lu Entertainment and close work with Derrick Dean of Derrick Dean Photography, as well as creating commissioned and personal works. Lauren's work is largely editorial with more recent explorations of the craft in Black & White analog styles.

Lauren's filmmaking career spans 6+ years, working on personal and collaborative work throughout college and beyond. Her most recent film, "Black Panther, Yellow Tiger" won “Outstanding Presentation of a Creative Project” at the Incheon Global Campus Research Symposium in Incheon, South Korea. "Black Panther, Yellow Tiger" is now competing in film festivals.
